I am a rising senior at The Pennington School, and in this transformational time I am trying to build bridges and community with music, social activism, and sustainable inventions.
Music has always taken up an integral part of my life since I was small. At Pennington, I expanded my love for music beyond just the piano and viola. I started to sing at community gatherings called “coffee house’s”.
I am also part of Pennington’s ‘Girls in STEM’, ‘Malawi tutoring club’, and community service club. We, as the future, have the power and capability to bring upon change to the world, and the only way to ensure this is to start advocating now.
My purifying trash can invention, B Pur’e, is also approved to be placed at The Pennington School to absorb CO2 emissions from automobiles and ‘eat’ PET plastic. With an increase in factories and automobiles, climate change is adversely affecting the earth faster than ever before. The only way to reverse these effects is to significantly remove landfill and CO2 emissions.
